Meinung:
Das Café von Lucy's Mom fand ich unglaublich idyllisch und cosy. Die Story selbst fand ich auch sehr süß, da vor allem die Protagonistin Lucy sich hier weiter entwickelt und auch ihre eigenen Träume für sich erkennt. Auch die Kleinstadt hat mir so gut gefallen und dass es sogar einen kleinen Backwettbewerb gab, bei dem Lucy immer mit einem Pumpkin Pie antritt. Allgemein ist das Buch voller Backwaren und macht einfach total Lust darauf, direkt selbst zu backen. Obwohl Jack und Lucy, auf Grund der Cafés ihrer Elterm, in gewisserweise Rivalen sind, verstehen die zwei sich auf Anhieb gut. Jedoch feindet sie  Jack doch etwas an, als sie das mit dem Café seiner Eltern erfährt, bemerkt aber auch recht schnell, dass es Schwachsinn ist und geht wieder auf Jack zu. Ich fand die Dynamik und Freundschaft zwischen den beiden auch so niedlich. Der Romance Anteil steht hier auch doch eher im Hintergrund, das es den Fokus doch eher auf die Entwicklung der Charaktere liegt, anstelle auf die Romanze. 
Für mich war es ein sehr schönes, herbstliches Jugendbuch mit einigen tollen Aspekten.
